We have been very fortunate to have met Kari 2 years ago for summer photos of my daughter and nephews at Hidden Lake Gardens. We have never looked elsewhere for photos since then. Kari is an amazing person as well as photographer. We have been fortunate to have many sessions with Kari with my husband's side of the family and my side too. She has an unbelievable knack for capturing the perfect photo, even when you think there's absolutely no way that your child is cooperating. My oldest, Kara, has grown to love Kari and looks forward to our photo sessions together. Our youngest, Lauren, is a part of Kari's Bebe collection which I would HIGHLY recommend to any new family. The pictures are priceless and also keep you on target to get those pictures taken!
I think my favorite part about Kari though is her blog. She is one of the most sincere and thoughtful people I know and her view of the people she photographs is what makes her even that much more of an outstanding photographer.

Brady and family :-)

I recently discovered Kari through a referral from my sister who also had pictures done with Touch Of Love Photography. I have to say that I was a bit nervous at first because our baby Brady went through a fussy few first months. I was not sure whether a photographer was going to be able to capture any peaceful or happy moments with him! After I saw Kari's work that she had done with my sister, I was really interested in having her take pictures of Brady! Brady has been a bit of a fussy butt for both sessions that Kari has done for us, but Kari seems to always capture the best moments! She has done a beautiful job and we will treasure the photos that we have of little Brady forever! Kari is a very patient person and also very understanding when it comes to new babies (and new moms!) We are very happy with her work and would be happy to recommend her to anyone out there looking for a great photographer!

T and J Engagement

Touch Of Love Photography was introduced to me and was brand new to me only a few months ago now and after meeting Kari and seeing her photography I fell in love with it all! I have done my engagement photos with Kari about 2 months ago and I was pretty nervous because I wasnt sure how my fiance would do taking pictures, with someone he had never met before and Kari made him feel comfortable and he opened up and had a great time very quickly! We had a great time and when the pictures came back I was so pleased and could not wait to show everybody them!! I cannot wait for our wedding , I know Kari will be absolutely amazing just by the work I have seen and by the short time I've known her I have been totally pleased with it all!! I was referred to Kari from Michigan International Speedway (MIS) where she does some work with them. My situation for a photographer was unique – I wanted my daughter’s senior pictures taken at MIS and I live about 50 miles away from Kari’s home turf and so I really went into this blind. Kari is much more than the photographers you encounter at a typical studio. She was not only personable, friendly and made you feel like you’ve known her all your life but she’s also a very skilled photographer. Read her blog – it allows you to understand her as a person and her passion for photography. Another plus for Kari - I was able to view and order our photos on line which made it nice since we are so far away.

We had a great experience. I was very worried about how our 2 year, Emily, would sit through pictures. She has a very short attention span, but you did a great job keeping her attention. We all felt very at ease & really enjoyed getting our pictures taken. They turned out so good that it was hard to choose, which is why I ended up getting a CD with all the prints! Fun, sincere, passionate and down to earth are just some of the things that come to mind when describing who Kari is. I was incredibly impressed by Kari's involvement in my wedding planning as she was eager to help in any way. In fact, I was having a hard time finding a ceremony location for our wedding. Kari took it upon herself, while on vacation, to ask complete strangers who were from the town I was looking to get married at, if they had any suggestions on a place to hold a ceremony. They gave her an idea, she passed it onto me and it ended up being the place where we got married. It was perfect and meant to be. What other photographer does that? She became my friend in no time. She has a passion about what she does and she shows it during the session, in her creative and unique touches to the final photo/product and, of course, her blog which I visit everyday. Kari has done 2 sessions and our wedding in 3 months time and she has never disappointed. She always brings her A-game. Pictures are memories for a lifetime. Why settle for less than the best?!
